About our concrete contractor team in Durango

Why I pour concrete for lived-in homes
I learned concrete on new construction, pouring on bare lots where nothing was in the way. After a few years of that I moved to houses people already live in, because that's where the work matters to the person writing the check. I started Durango Concrete Company in 2023, and today homeowners around Durango call us for driveways, patios, steps and foundation work, with some lots and cutting jobs for property owners.
What's under a slab matters more than what you see on top, so that's where I spend the time. Most driveways that sink or crack early sat on dirt that was raked level instead of dug out and packed, and nobody sees that on the day of the pour. I'd rather put your money into the base than into a fancier finish, and I'll tell you so. You'll find everything we pour on our home page.

What you can expect from us
We work around your house
We plan every job for a home you live in, so we work around your yard, your cars and your day instead of treating it like an empty lot. You'll know when the driveway is blocked before the forms go in, not after.
The person who priced it runs the pour
I come out to look at every job myself, and I'm on site running our crew through the pour. If something isn't right, you're talking to the person who answers for it.
Permits sorted before we dig
In Durango, when a job needs a permit, the city wants it in hand before any work or ground disturbance starts, so we check what the city or county needs before anyone digs. When a permit is needed, we handle the application and work the review time into the schedule.
Straight answers about concrete
I'd rather tell you what concrete can and can't do, small cracks included, than sell you something that only looks good for a season. If you want that kind of answer on your driveway or patio, send us a note or call (970) 844-8095 and I'll come walk the job.
Licenses and what they mean for your job
Durango business license
The City of Durango requires a business license, renewed every year, for anyone doing business inside city limits, and that includes crews who come into the city to provide a service. It's a fair question to ask any contractor before they start digging up your yard.
Licensed and insured
Licensed and insured. Satisfaction guaranteed on every job, and the person who stands behind that is the same one who walked your job and ran the pour.
